Disclosures

Important information about Advantage Loans, how we are paid, the products funding providers may offer, and how you may be contacted. Please read this before submitting a request.
1. We are not a lender
Advantage Loans is not a lender, a bank or a broker. We do not make credit decisions, approve or decline requests, or set terms, prices or fees. We collect business funding requests and share them with independent funding providers and brokers. They decide whether to contact you and whether to make an offer.
2. How we make money
We are compensated by funding providers and brokers for requests we share with them, and potentially for outcomes of those requests. We do not charge you. Because we are paid by providers, our compensation may influence which providers receive your request. We do not list or rank every provider in the market, and what you are offered may not be the best available to you.
3. Products you may be offered
Funding providers in our network may offer working capital products for businesses, including merchant cash advances, lines of credit and term financing. Availability depends on your business, your state and the provider.
About merchant cash advances
- An MCA is not a loan. The provider buys a portion of your future sales at a discount. You receive a lump sum today and the provider is repaid from your future receipts.
- Repayment is often taken in daily or weekly amounts, either as a share of your sales or as a fixed amount, usually by automatic withdrawal from your business bank account.
- Cost is usually shown as a “factor rate” or fixed fee, not an interest rate. The effective annual cost can be high compared with traditional loans.
- Agreements may include origination or other fees, a lien on business assets (a UCC filing), a personal guarantee, and rights to withdraw payments automatically. Some agreements restrict taking other financing.
- If your sales slow down, your required payments may not.
Providers are required to give you the terms, total cost and repayment details in writing before you sign, and some states require specific commercial financing disclosures. Read them carefully, ask questions, and compare offers. You are never required to accept.
4. No guarantees
We do not guarantee that you will be contacted, approved or funded, or the amount, cost or timing of any funding. Statements like “as fast as” describe what some providers may do in some cases, not what you will receive. Not all applicants qualify. Requirements such as minimum revenue, time in business and credit score vary by provider.
5. Credit
Our request form does not check your credit. The credit score range you give us is your own estimate. Funding providers may review your credit or other information, such as business bank statements, as part of their own process. They will tell you what they need, and you should ask them before you agree whether they will run a credit check and what kind.
6. Consent to be contacted
When you submit a request, you are asked to agree to the following by checking a box. This is the exact wording:
By checking this box, I agree that Advantage Loans and the funding providers it shares my request with may contact me about business funding by phone, text message (including automated, autodialed and prerecorded messages sent right after I submit) and email, at the number and address I provided, even if my number is on a do-not-call list. I can reply STOP to any text to opt out. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply. I have read and agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Disclosures.
- The companies that may contact you include Advantage Loans and the funding providers and brokers we share your request with. More than one may contact you.
- Calls and texts may be made with automated dialing technology, and may include prerecorded or artificial voice messages.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- You do not have to agree to be contacted in order to use any product or service.
- You may be sent a one-time code by text or voice to confirm your phone number.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text to end texts from that sender. Reply HELP for help. For calls, tell the caller to stop calling you. For email, use the unsubscribe link. You can also contact us at the details below and we will help you reach the providers who have your information. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages already sent, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Your information
By submitting a request you agree that we may share your information with funding providers, brokers and our service providers as described in our Privacy Policy. Opt-out and deletion instructions are in that policy.
8. State availability and legal notices
Funding products are not available in every state, and some providers do not serve certain states or industries. Some states regulate commercial financing and require specific disclosures from providers. Those disclosures come from the provider, not from us.
9. Advertising
This website and our advertisements are marketing for funding providers. Statements about requirements, such as minimum revenue, time in business or credit score, are typical minimums and are not a guarantee that you will be matched or approved.
